Anna Doodles, also known as Anna Rivera, is a New York based Illustrator, comic book artist, and self-proclaimed Professional Doodler with a love for nostalgic, 80’s/90’s animation which may or may not border on obsessive. Perhaps.
Applying both traditional and digital applications like a retro, cyberpunk fiend, this artist generates illustrations/comic books that either drip with vibrant colors, or stay grounded in all their monochromatic glory, but that’s not all.
She’s also a Nuyorican. Creating images inspired from her culture, and upbringing.
Prior to earning her B.F.A from the Rocky Mountain school of Art + Design, she served Active Duty in the U.S. Navy as a Medical Professional and Security Specialist while also volunteering her artistic skills to create poster designs, and logos for team apparel.
Now a retired Vet and Mother, Anna still participates in volunteer opportunities when available and currently a member of the Peekskill Art Alliance.
