About Me
My artistic journey all began when I first crawled out of the deep abyss of my mother’s womb…or perhaps when I was three. I always forget when exactly. Anywho, I was young, poor, and bored so I drew. ALOT. At home, at school, on paper…or walls.
I just doodled.
The reason I consider myself a “Professional Doodler” rather than just an illustrator, is because I love to doodle, above all else. Every drawing, illustration, comic page, or even painting, starts as a doodle.
A doodle is the idea for a work of art, in its most basic, raw, unrefined form, and I relate to that more than the finish product.
I’ve gone through many thumbnail versions of myself. From a mortuary science major, to military, to parent. One thing stayed the same.
I just doodled.
That; and I’m still poor.
